As a crafter and sewer a thoughtful friend gave me these electric scissors. They are a Gift from God. What a great invention. Imagine scissors that zip right through brocade like it is nothing. I loved mine so much that I bought one for a friend, The pain in her hands is so bad she can't open a jar. Scissors are torture. The gift was a hit. She LOVES her My-t-Fine scissors. She sends at least one Email a week thanking me for the gift.

I can't say how long they last. I don't use them everyday but so far so good. One neat thing, you can store the recharger in bottom of the scissor stand. So, no lost charger.
